Matthew graduated from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism in December, 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Photojournalism. During his time at Mizzou, Matthew made a name for himself as a sports photographer, having covered nearly every varsity team at the University of Missouri, including the 2006 Big XII Basketball Tournament, the 2008 Sun Bowl, and the 2009 Cotton Bowl.

For the last two and a half years, Matthew has worked at the University of Missouri’s Student Recreation Complex, providing photos of the Complex’s numerous Rec Sports programs, over 50 Intercollegiate Club Sports teams, and major events such as the Missouri Grand Prix, an Olympic level swim meet. These photos were published through the Rec Complex in their annual magazine, MizzouRec Nation, and their website, mizzourec.com.

Matthew currently works as an Imaging Technician and On-Call Photographer for the Columbia Daily Tribune and a Freelance Photographer in the mid-west region. Contact him for scheduling.
